Students will be doing a minimum of 50% of their sketches in class. All sketches should be done on 8½ x11 or 9x12 white paper, and include the topic along with a background and a minimum of 3 values of shading. Your grade will drop one full grade per requirement that is missing from your sketch.
On the back of each sketch you need to include your name, your class and the name of the sketch - with an answer or explanation if needed.
Sketches will be done in class on Tuesday and will be considered late if handed in after 12:00 noon on Wednesday.
If the student is in school on the day the assignment is due, but did not hand in the assignment that day…. the assignment will need to be handed in by the beginning of 5th period the next day or the student/assignment will be put on the ICU list that day (one day after it is due).
If any part of your sketch is traced or someone else does the work for you, this is considered cheating and you will receive a zero for the sketch.
